Help to grow our gardens at the new hospice
The gardens that will make up the new St Ann’s Hospice site in Heald Green will be a peaceful place promoting comfort, a connection to nature, and an escape from clinical settings – Today, we invite you to help us grow that sanctuary.
A hospice garden isn’t just an assortment of flowers, shrubs, and trees. It is an environment that promotes tranquility, a connection to nature, and supports emotional, spiritual, and sometimes physical wellbeing.
Our aim for the gardens is simple, we want to tap into the powers of nature that have been proven to promote peace and calm. A hospice garden can provide a quiet, peaceful place away from clinical settings, reducing stress and anxiety.
A hospice garden can also offer people a place to grieve and reflect, providing a safe and private space for families to talk, cry, pray, or to even sit with their thoughts.
These gardens can become a reality with the help of the community. Any donation, big or small, will go a long way to secure the tranquil gardens of the Heald Green hospice for our future patients, their families and loved ones, and our staff.

We want our patients and their loved ones to feel welcome and safe in our new hospice. We know our care is exceptional and they deserve an environment that matches up to these standards. Help us to create a hospice that feels like home – a sanctuary for those that need us.
We need a new St Ann’s Hospice. For patients.
For families. For everybody in our community.
